  • Movement School for Revolutionaries was a Big Success

    The Green Party of Maricopa County wants to extend our deep appreciation for the Movement School for Revolutionaries's co-facilitators, David Cobb and Melieza Figueroa.  The all day workshop was held in August, 2017 and was a great opportunity for Phoenix activists to learn about how to make positive changes in our political system. David and Mel highlighted the real Green Party strategy during this period of rising neofascism, failed neoliberalism and general global political crisis, and how can address the challenges we face.

    This year's Annual National Meeting of the Green Party of the United States will be held on the campus of the New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark, New Jersey.

    The Green Party of Maricopa County, in coalition with Tonatierra, No on the 202 loop, Not Your Mascot, Arizona Stands (with Standing Rock) and Protect Oak Flats held a community event on March 24th with close to 300 people in attendance, mostly from indigenous communities around Maricopa County.   • Join the Green Party Voter Justice and Election Integrity Team

    The Green Party of Maricopa County supports comprehensive voting reforms to support multiparty democracy and a board of elections that operates free from partisan control. We believe in the sovereignty of Arizona's elections and the voter experience. As a result, the principals of One Person, One Vote and Voter Justice are high priorities for us to champion. Voter Justice encompasses a full range of topics including:

    Join the Green Party of Maricopa County, Tonatierra, Not A Mascot, Arizona Stands with Standing Rock,  Protect Oak Flats, and Protect MOADOG DO'AG (no on 202 loop) as we welcome and host, internationally renowned scholar and activist, Winona LaDuke.  March 24th Friday – Doors open 6 pm. Refreshments will be served. Donation requested at door. Program starts 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm - Networking until 9 pm - LOCATION: 7009 South 10th Street (South Phoenix) Gymnasium - Greenfield Junior High School
